Envelope Muse

ENVELOPE MUSE began back in early 2000s in the isolated deep south of Western Australia. A profound connection to dark ambient, harshnoise, industrial, soundtrack and film composition inspired early experimentation with a 4 track recorder, a guitar, a mic and effects pedals.

From those humble beginnings the work of Envelope Muse evolved into the dark ambient industrial soundtracks the artist produces today.

These heavily textured and moving visions are created through the integration of field recordings, modified equipment, film/audio samples, voice, synths, guitar and bass. Dialogue runs a theme and the music is carefully constructed for film and live performance.

Envelope Muse soundtracks evoke feelings of solitude, melancholy, confinement and isolation through their foreboding, ominous and discordant overtones.

Envelope Muse: Dystopian sound for a dystopian world.
